I kinda get the point because if I can check something, why not do it, right? On the other hand, I’ve read that a VIN report doesn’t show absolutely everything. If a repair was done at a private shop, for example, it won’t appear in the report.

Getting a VIN report costs almost nothing and takes no time at all. But this simple step can save you a ton of money on repairs or legal issues in the future.

And it shows the car’s entire official history, which is actually super valuable for any buyer. Especially when checking mileage, ownership, and stuff like that. In other words, just order a report through FAXVIN, for example. It helps you make a decision based on facts, not on the previous owner’s promises.
