We had a patient in today that had a deep debridement of the mandible. I need to bill this to the VA and they need it in a dental code. Is there one? I have searched and cannot find one.

When you say "debridement of the mandible," are you referring to removing plaque/calculus buildup around the teeth and gums on the mandibular arch? Or are you referring to some kind of scaling of the osseous substructures? Because the code for a full-mouth debridement in the former case would be D4355. I'm just not sure if that's what you're asking for.
