The transportation will be from Ajax to City Hall in the city center, and then to a restaurant in North York. If I want a ride at the end of the evening, do I have to pay for all those hours spent dining? It's a wedding, but I hesitate to say that because we don't have a special budget for people to jack up their prices at the mere mention of "wedding." Is it better to book a limo at the restaurant, and then take an Uber home?
I've never rented a limo before, so I don't know what to look for.

Limousines are usually rented by the hour, so the time spent at the restaurant may be included in the price. However, many companies will make concessions if you explain that it's just a trip to a wedding without a special budget. Sometimes it's better to rent a limo only for the most important moments, such as the ride to the registry office and the restaurant. I've had experience renting limo hire London and companies there often offer packages or short trips to avoid waiting fees. You can also arrange pickup directly from the restaurant, which is cheaper.
