Hi Victoria!

The best narrative to send to request authorization is always one specific to the patient. You'll want to be sure to include information such as: the patient's chief complaints, any pertinent medical history, exam findings, and the provider's reason for needing a CT scan vs. a lesser x-ray such as a pano or ceph.

What is the best narrative to give when sending the insurance a request for authorization for a CT scan? Per Arch and Both Arches?
