I have a patient who was hit in the mouth during a basketball game. The teeth were loosened and we added braces to stabilize her teeth. I used the CPT code 0470T but that code was discontinued the end of 2023. Insurance is denying the claim because the CPT code is discontinued This is a medical claim that will pay if I provide the correct code.
Can you provide a replacement code?
