If the DWConnector is working fine in one workstation but does not "start" in another workstation it could be that the workstations are running a different operating system.

On the workstation that the DWConnector is not working we need to check the configuration file on the C:\program files\Nierman\DentalWriterNet Workstation\ folder.

Using the "Explorer" (right-click on the Start button - lower left) and select "Explorer". Click on the C:\Program Files\ folder, Click on the Nierman folder, Click on the DentalWriterNet Workstation Folder.

Scroll down until you see the one of the files listed:
DWEagleSoft.cfg (for Eagle Soft )
DWDentrix.cfg (Dentrix users)
DWPworks.cfg (Practice Works)
DWSoftDent.cfg (SoftDent)
DWOrthoTrack.cfg (OrthoTrack)

and double click to open with NotePad.

Once you have the file opened, check the second line in the file (ConnectorPath)
ConnectorPath=C:\Program Files\Nierman\DentalWriterNet Workstation\DWNet.exe

If you are running a 64-bit operating system, the path should be:

ConnectorPath=C:\ Program Files (X86)\Nierman\DentalWriterNet Workstation\DWNet.exe

Otherwise, it is OK.
