can be crosscoded to one of the following:
21025 - excision of bone, mandible
21026 - excision of facial bone(s)
41830 - alveolectomy incl. curettage

We performed service D7550 in-office for a patient following an extraction of tooth #8 at another provider's office 2 months prior. His dental insurance says it has to be filed on his medical insurance. I am unfamiliar with the medical coding requirements for this procedure.
