Yes, I would use 41899 for that coding scenario as there is not a specific code to descibe control of post tooth extraction bleed to my knowledge :)

Hello, I am considering CPT code 41899 as I need one to represent control of post tooth extraction bleed performed by emergency room MD. The md applied gelfoam in socket hole. Would this qualify? I didn't think so but I am given a revenue code for the hospital procedure. Any other ideas? Much appreciated.
