Hi Guest!

While dental coding is not our forte like medical coding is, I'm happy to help any way I can!

Starting with E1399 -

E1399 - Durable medical equipment, miscellaneous
Since E1399 is a "miscellaneous" code, it can be used to represent many different items. I'm guessing for this coding scenario, it may be being used to represent an appliance to treat temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). If so, D7880 is typically the CDT code equivalent. If this is not a TMD case, let me know.

99212 - Office or other outpatient visit for the evaluation and management of an established patient, which requires at least 2 of these 3 key components: A problem focused history; A problem focused examination; Straightforward medical decision making. Counseling and/or coordination of care with other physicians, other qualified health care professionals, or agencies are provided consistent with the nature of the problem(s) and the patient's and/or family's needs. Usually, the presenting problem(s) are self limited or minor. Typically, 10 minutes are spent face-to-face with the patient and/or family.

This code's crossover will be your dental oral evaluation code, such as:
D0140 - limited oral evaluation - problem focused
D0120 - periodic oral evaluation - established patient
D0150 - comprehensive oral evaluation - new or established patient

76380 - Computed tomography, limited or localized follow-up study
can be crosscoded to:
D0322 - Tomographic survey

S8948 - Application of a modality (requiring constant provider attendance) to one or more areas; low-level laser; each 15 minutes
I'm not aware of a specific CDT code for low level laser, so you may consider:
D7899 - unspecified TMD therapy, by report
(again if not a TMD case, let me know)

Hope this helps!
